Privacy
Many people who use this tool are students, so it keeps as little as it can.
What is stored
- A keyed hash of your Onshape user id (the id itself is never stored), the team you belong to, and your role there (admin or member).
- If a team admin typed a label on your invite (for example "Sam, shooter lead"), that label.
- The Onshape companies and teams you belong to, as Onshape listed them when you last signed in. A team tied to one of them lets you in.
- If you ask for a team or to join one: your Onshape display name (and, for a new team, your email) with the request, until it is decided. A request for a new team also opens an issue for the site operators with your name and email in it.
- Your Onshape profile picture, if you have one, as it was when you last signed in. It is shown in the title bar and deleted with your account.
- An audit record of team and invite events, tied to the hash.
What is not stored
- Your school or age. Your Onshape display name and email are held in your session cookie while you are signed in, and kept only as a request above.
- Your Onshape access token. It is used once, to ask Onshape who you are, and then discarded.
Deleting it
Signed in, open Account and delete your record: your membership and hash are removed. A team can be deleted entirely by the platform admin: its database files, members and invites go with it.
